Teaching the Cold War (Fall 2026 In-Person Workshop)

A one-day workshop in Dallas for secondary-level social studies teachers on the Cold War. Content aligns with the TEKS for U.S. history, covering the origins of the Cold War, conflicts such as Cuba, Korea, and Vietnam, the end of the Cold War and its legacy, and teaching the Cold War through film. Teachers receive books, instructional materials, CPE credit, and up to $200 substitute reimbursement; out-of-town teachers may be reimbursed up to $300 in approved travel costs.
