Acceptance of terms

By using k12workshops.com (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms of Service. The Site is operated by K-12 Network Inc. (“we”, “us”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

What the Site is — and is not

K-12 Workshops is a directory. We gather publicly available information about in-person K-12 professional development and student workshops and present it in one place. We are not the organizer of any listed workshop, we do not host or run events, and we do not process registrations or payments.

Registration always takes place on the organizer's own website. Any contract, purchase, attendance, refund, or accessibility matter is solely between you and the workshop organizer.

Listing accuracy

Workshop details — dates, times, venues, prices, and availability — are provided by organizers or collected from their public websites and may change without notice. While we work to keep listings accurate and current, we make no warranty that any listing is correct, complete, or up to date. Always confirm details with the organizer before registering or traveling.

Accounts

You may browse the Site without an account. Creating a free account lets you save workshops to your profile. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for activity under your account. We may suspend or delete accounts that misuse the Site.

Acceptable use

You agree not to: scrape or copy the Site's content at scale without written permission; submit false, misleading, or spam workshop listings; impersonate an organizer or other person; attempt to breach the Site's security; or use the Site in violation of any applicable law.

Organizers submitting listings confirm the information they provide is accurate and that they are authorized to list the workshop. We may edit, reject, or remove any submission at our discretion.

Promoted listings

Organizers may pay for promoted placement (such as featured listings or pinned positions). Promoted listings remain workshop listings subject to the same accuracy rules; payment does not guarantee inclusion, and it never changes the registration arrangement — attendees still register with the organizer.

Intellectual property

The Site's design, text, code, and compilations of listings are owned by K-12 Network Inc. or its licensors. Workshop names, descriptions, and logos belong to their respective organizers. You may link to the Site freely; you may not reproduce substantial portions of it without permission.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, K-12 Network Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on listings, your dealings with organizers, or events attended through the Site — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).

Links to other sites

Listings link to organizer websites and to our sister sites (K-12 Blogs, K-12 Conferences, K-12 Podcasts, and K-12 Webinars). We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
