K-12 Workshops is a directory of in-person professional development and student workshops, operated by K-12 Network Inc. (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information we collect when you use k12workshops.com and how we use it.

Account information. If you create a free account, we collect your email address and password (stored only as an encrypted credential). You can also sign in with an email magic link.

Saved workshops. If you save workshops while signed in, we store the list of saved workshops linked to your account so they appear on your profile page.

Newsletter. If you subscribe, we store your email address to send you our monthly email. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.

Messages you send us. If you use the contact or submission forms, we keep your name, email address, and message so we can respond.

Usage data. Like most websites, we receive standard technical information from your browser (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and site-performance purposes.

What we do not collect

We do not collect payment information. Registration for workshops happens on each organizer's own website, not on ours — we never see or process your payment details.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

Children's privacy

Some listed workshops serve K-12 students, but this website is intended for adults — teachers, parents, and organizers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

How we use information

We use your information to operate your account, show your saved workshops, send the newsletter you asked for, respond to your messages, review workshop submissions, and keep the site secure. We share information only with the service providers that help us run the site (such as our hosting, database, and email providers), and only as needed to provide the service.

Cookies

We use only the cookies and local storage required to keep you signed in and to remember your display preferences. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link in any email. You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and associated data by contacting us. Workshop listings themselves are public directory information sourced from organizer websites.
