Pre-K Talk It Up! Rich Oral Language

A half-day session for pre-K teachers on designing lessons that build rich oral language. Participants work directly with their curriculum to plan talk-rich routines that grow vocabulary and expressive language in the early years. Bring your Teacher Guide or a laptop to access it — it is required for the session. $100, 3 CPE hours.

Civics Training Program (SB 3)

Two-day civics training that builds a factual foundation for teaching civics through close study of primary sources and the founding documents of the United States. Participants practise strategies for civil discourse, media literacy and simulations of governmental processes, and leave ready to lead classroom and campus instruction in civics. Texas Senate Bill 3 requires every campus to have at least one teacher and one principal who has attended an official civics training program, so this session keeps campuses compliant. Free, 12 CPE hours, for one K–5 teacher and principal per campus.
