STEMFor studentsStudents in grades K-12 take part in hands-on, grade-level STEM workshops led by the NASCAR Hall of Fame education team. Through challenge-based activities they explore the science of force and motion that brings the sport to life, and earn a special patch for completing the challenges. Runs 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; $23 for grades K-5, $29 for grades 6-12, with one free chaperone per student.
STEMFor studentsSTEAM into action! Tweens are invited to create hands-on, real world, and FUN learning activities with the Nova STEAM Academy. Get your brains in gear for the new school year! Registration is preferred in order to ensure the correct amount of supplies.
STEMFor studentsInteractive workshops to introduce Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) concepts to 6th – 12th graders. FreshStart is a program of the National Society of Black Engineers – Austin Professionals (NSBE-AP), using hands-on activities to spark student interest in STEM careers and build confidence in problem-solving, design, and teamwork.
