Participants build inquiry and problem-solving skills inspired by history's greatest inventors, with a fresh theme each month. Runs 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. A student drop-off program; $15 per student.

STEMFor studentsChildren ages 6-12 build and program machines with LEGO Education SPIKE Prime, applying STEAM concepts and the engineering design process through hands-on learning. Participants follow instructions to build a project, program the components, then bugfix, change and improve their program. Requires a 1st-grade reading and writing level plus keyboard and mouse proficiency. Runs 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.; registration required, 6 seats remaining.
STEMFor studentsYoung engineers in grades K-4 step into Santa's workshop for train-themed mechanical challenges. Build custom track routes and train-powered mechanisms, combine ramps, gears and festive materials into Rube Goldberg chain reactions, and explore momentum, cause-and-effect and simple machines through trial and error. A drop-and-shop event: two kid-free hours for parents. Space is limited to 20 participants.
STEMFor studentsThe afternoon run of the Elf Engineering Lab for grades K-4.
